Profile...

Started racing motor bikes when he was about 7 years old in a local farmers field on a 50cc motorcross bike.  He soon developed some speed and style and started doing grasstrack racing the following year leading the Lancashire, Yorkshire and Worcester junior sections.
Initially Belle Vue mascot then number 8 joined Stoke and then Cradley in May as number 8 for extra rides also riding in the Northern Junior League for Halifax.
Joe got plenty of rides in the Heathens team although named at number 8 he was frequently called upon to replace off form riders.
Joe's best score was actually the last home match of the season with three points and a bonus against Brimingham no less, which is probably why he was Cradley's second signing for 2017!

Joe started his 2017 season with the Heathens as number 7 and he would have been a great reserve unfortunately he was a victim of his own success and injury to Ryan Burton, he moved into the main part of the team.  However he had a very successful season even if he was let down by poor machinery.  He would have been a better scorer if he could get some good sponsors, he certainly showed he had the talent.
His best scores were at Buxton in May with a paid maximum 11+1 from 4 rides and again in August against Belle Vue with 13 and 1 bonus from 6 rides.
