Profile...

Frank was yet another of Tiger Stevenson's training school at Bristol, a late starter at 32 years old he was given a chance in the Bulldogs side in 1947 achieving an average of just over four and a half points a match from eleven matches.
He was loaned to the Heathens in July 1947, his highest score was eight against Southampton in August and went on to gain an average of over four points per match from league matches.
Frank joined Stoke in 1948 where he became a valuable member of the side that eventually won the Third Division Championship in 1949.
When Stoke moved up into Div2 in 1950 he found himself struggling so he moved into Div3, Frank was much more comfortable here topping the Swindon averages. He stayed with the Potters for three more seasons until 1954.
When the Provincial League started in 1960 he was tempted back to his home town club Bristol but joined Plymouth in 1961, he failed to keep up so decided to retire after just 4 matches in 1954.
