1981 1300cc Australian Dirt Track Champion


Profile...

Kerry came over from Australia in 1983 as an accomplished racer winning the 1300cc Australian Dirt Track Championship in 1981.  He joined Rye House and manages an average of 5.73 from 23 matches.  He came back in 1984 for 26 matches.
He rode one match for Wolverhampton in the League Cup on 14th May 1984 with a match winning 5+2 from his 3 rides when the Heathens lost by one point!
Kerry made his Cradley debut on 16th June 1984 as a late replacement for Simon Cross, he was used from number 8 in the Heathens team and scored 6 points.  The next match at Reading in the KO Cup on 25th June he failed to turn up.  He rode at Dudley Wood on 7th July against Poole in place of Phil Collins who was on International Duty and scored 2+1 bonus point from 4 rides. Kerry rode on the 18th August at reserve, again scoring 2 points. This was his last match for the Heathens.
He did not return to the UK the following year.
