Profile...

Morten signed for Cradley on a transfer from Oxford in 1993. Despite only two full seasons at Dudley Wood, the exciting Dane made a huge impact on the Heathens fans and became quite a favourite on the terraces - not just for his 100% effort and track action, but for his super personality off-track.
Before arriving at Cradley, Morten's credentials included being runner-up in the World Under 21 Championship but unfortunately his Heathens career was plagued by injury, and eventually it was a track crash which forced him to retire after a short spell with Kings Lynn.

Update...

Morten now lives within sight of Fjelsted speedway in Denmark but does not often go because he feels the need to keep away - I still wonder what I could have achieved without those injuries.
Despite a tinge of regret Morten is now happily settled in his homeland with a wife and family of three children. He now works for an engineering firm and turned 43 earlier this month (April 2013). His work even brought him back to the Midlands a few years ago when three weeks of training turned out to be in Kidderminster!  It was another moment to fondly recall the Cradley days.
"I enjoyed my time there very much and I'd like to thank those Cradley fans for all their support", he concluded. "I want to say hello to them all now because I miss them. They're such good people and I wish them all well".
