Had several seasons with Rye House, beginning in 1976. Also rode for Reading, Oxford and
Peterborough amongst other clubs. Appeared for Cradley early in 1982 when promoter Peter Adams
gave opportunities to a number of riders in the reserve berth. Wayne Jackson, Bill Barrett and Ian
Gledhill were amongst others battling for the final team spot. Commonly, riders would be ‘loaned’ to
sister track Oxford in the National League and called upon when needed in the top flight.



Sadly died from cancer on 6th June 2002, aged just 46.
