Conors interest with speedway started when he was mascot at Brandon, Coventry. In 2011 he helped Richard Franklin as mechanic at Monmore Green in 2011. Conor had some rides at Scunthorpe too.  In April 2014 he had a fall at Coventry and broke his collar-bone.

In 2015 he joined Coventry along with Dan Greenwood where he increased his average from 3.00 to 5.44 during the season.
Promoter Mick Horton was pleased with Conors progress and signed him up for 2016.
2017 saw him move to Cradley along with Dan Greenwood.  He started the season as reserve but worked his way up into the team to increase his average to 5.53 cma.


Conor had a good spell of form in August with 11 plus 2 bonus from 7 rides against Isle of Wight on the 9th and his best score was against Birmingham the 21st with 14 and 1 bonus from 7 rides. Finishing with 12 plus 4 bonus from 6 rides against Belle Vue on the 28th.
Conor missed the next three matches through illness but came back for the last match of the season against Eastbourne he had a nightmare of a match with one fall and three retirements!
He did manage to take his place in the Golden Hammer though and collected 3 points.
